Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, Amandeep won the Ladies Open Amateur Golf Tournament held at AEPTA, New Delhi from 21 to 25 Sep 2014. The city girl kept her focus throughout the four day grueling event and ultimately emerged winner despite challenges from other competent golfers. She is happy that her regular practices at Shivalik Golf Course, Chandimandir have enabled her to compete at this level and make her parents and Army proud.
Amandeep, the only daughter of her proud parents Col & Mrs Pargat Singh, has been playing golf for the last four years. She is pursuing Political Science in a Chandigarh College and finds time to practice golf regularly, her motto being High, Higher, Highest. She aims to excel in golf, the sport she loves most.
