Robbers try to break into house of Indian family residing in US; know what happens next  In a shocking incident, miscreants tried to break into the house of an Indian family who is currently residing in the US’ New Jersey.  All thanks to CCTV which failed the attempt of burglar and police reached the house before anything happened.  The incident took place on Monday night in Shyam Nagar under Chakeri police station in UP’s Kanpur.  The house owner, Vijay Awasthi (38), a software engineer, currently living in New Jersey, received an alert on his mobile phone. The signals were from the CCTV cameras and sensors that he had installed at his ancestral house in Shyam Nagar.  Vijay was able to watch the live footage on his phone in which miscreants were seen trying to break into their house. He also used the mic option to warn the intruders but burglars didn’t care about it. Instead, they broke the CCTV cameras.  Later, Vijay informed the police about the robbery at his ancestral house. When the police reached the spot, the burglars opened fire and one of them was injured in the retaliatory firing and caught. Reportedly, other criminals were managed to escape. While police arrested a person who has been identified as Sonu, a resident of Hamirpur district.  Police called the two sisters of Vijay—Poonam, and Preeti, who lived in the Barra area of the city. Vijay sisters were called to cross-check the belongings in the house.  DCP, East, Pramod Kumar, said that as a precautionary measure, the police force has been deployed at the house. On the other hand, the condition of the miscreants is improving.  According to police, a tenant and caretaker were also living in the house. But the tenant had gone to his village a few days ago.
