Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Faridkot, November 2: The Parkash Singh Badal government finally succumbed to the mass upsurge as the two brothers of Panjgrain Kalan Rupinder Singh and Jaswinder Singh were released as the police moved the application in the court.
They had been arrested in the case of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib at Bargari provoking strong reaction as none believed in that area that they could have been involved in such an act.
They were remanded to judicial custody after five day police remand.
It may be mentioned that after their arrest, Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal had announced that the sacrilege case had been cracked and he even traced foreign hand behind the sacrilege conspiracy
All that has fallen flat and so has the Badal government.
