Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Brampton :- One person has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries and another is currently in custody following a two-vehicle crash in Brampton late Monday evening.
It happened at Ebenezer and The Gore roads shortly before 8 p.m.
The circumstances surrounding the crash – which caused one of the vehicles to roll over – were not immediately clear.
According to Peel police, the driver of one of the vehicles was transported to a Toronto trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
The gender and age of the patient were not immediately provided.
The driver of the second vehicle fled the scene on foot following the crash, police said. He has since been apprehended and is currently in police custody.
The area remains closed as the investigation continues.
