Chandigarh, November 25:  Aam Aadmi Party MP from Bhagwant Mann, who is has been facing flak for going to attend bhog ceremony of two persons killed in Behbal Kalan police firing in an allegedly inebriated condition, today made a valiant bid to put across his view by throwing an open challenge to the entire political leadership while offering to resign from Lok Sabha in case the allegations leveled against him at Bargari were proved. He has uploaded his offensive on the social media.

Mann has thrown open challenge to the leaders of all political parties in general and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal in particular to undergo dope test as that would bring out the truth as to who was an addict.

He said baseless personal allegations were leveled against him without any medical report.

“I will be the first to give blood sample for dope test. Let Sukhbir Badal and leaders from the Congress also come forward. This is my open challenge. I will resign from Lok Sabha in case I fail the test”, he asserted.

He said Sukhbir was in the habit of passing on his responsibility as in case of series of incidents of sacrilege, he blamed the foreign forces. The FIR in Behbal Kalan firing in which two persons were killed was registered against unidentified policemen. “How can the policemen be unidentified as they have to give account of ammunition used. This is simply to befool people”, he added. Similarly, he said in case of the demands of the farmers, he had taken the stand that the issues concerned the government at the centre.

It is for the first time after the allegation was leveled against him of attending the bhog ceremony after consuming liquor that he has come on offensive. He had left the stage during the function.
