Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, The Punjab Congress President Mr Partap Singh Bajwa today gave a call for all-party meeting at Moga on May 5 to intensify the agitation seeking justice for young dalit girl Arshdeep who was thrown out of the speeding Orbit bus by its staff.
He said the meeting would be held at 4.00 PM at hotel Kingdom.
The meeting would chalk out further strategy to put pressure for the registration of case against the Orbit owner who happened to be the Deputy Chief Minister Mr Sukhbir Singh Badal.
He said the governance in the state had collapsed as it was a mafia ruling the state in the garb of the Akali Dal. He said even policemen in the state were not safe as evident from yesterday’s incident in which a policeman was attacked while defending the honour of his daughter.
He also endorsed the call of the all- party action committee for Moga bandh tomorrow beginning 9.00 AM.
