Chandigarh, June 25: Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Mrs. Gurbachan Kaur (85), the mother of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Mr. Partap Singh Bajwa.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to grant courage to the members of the bereaved family, friends and relatives to bear this huge loss in this hour of grief and grant peace to the eternal soul.
It may be recalled that she passed away at her native village Qadian in Gurdaspur district this morning after a brief illness. She was the wife of Late S. Satnam Singh Bajwa, Ex-Minister Punjab and the mother-in-law of the sitting MLA from Qadian Smt. Charanjit Kaur Bajwa.
