BADAL GIVES NOD TO TRANSFER 4 IAS AND 9 PCS OFFICERS IN ADMINISTRATIVE SHAKEUP

Chandigarh, June 1: Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today approved the administrative reshuffle in which Financial Commissioner, Excise & Taxation Mr. D.P. Reddy, IAS has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary Finance thereby relieving the Principal Secretary Health and Family Welfare Ms. Vini Mahajan, IAS from the additional charge of Finance.

Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that Secretary General Administration Mr. Rahul Bhandari, IAS having additional charge of Additional Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi has been now relieved of the additional charge of General Administration and now posted as Additional Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi. Special Secretary, Revenue Mrs. Shruti Singh, IAS has been transferred and posted as Chief Administrator, Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA), Ludhiana while Mr. Sumeet Jarangal, IAS, ADC Bathinda has been posted as ADC Development (D) Fazilka.

Likewise, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Moga Smt. Surinder Kaur, PCS has been given additional charge of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Moga in place of Mr. Vipul Ujwal, IAS, whose posting orders would be issued separately.

Meanwhile, Mr. Avikesh Gupta, PCS, Estate Officer, GLADA has been posted as SDM, Jalalabad. Similarly, Ms. Sonam Chaudary, PCS, Assistant Commissioner (General), Barnala has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner (General) and (Grievances) at Fatehgarh Sahib. Similarly, Mr. Narinder Singh, PCS, Assistant Commissioner (Grievances) posted at Mansa has been transferred to Jaito as SDM after cancelling the orders of Mr. Nitish Singla, PCS. Mr. Bhupinder Singh, PCS, ADC, Amritsar has been transferred and posted as ADC (D), Mohali. Mr. Tejinderpal Singh, PCS, ADC, Gurdaspur has been transferred and posted as ADC (D), Amritsar. Mr. Rajdeep Singh Brar, PCS, Estate Officer, Jalandhar Development Authority having additional charge of SDM, Kapurthala has been shifted to Sunam as SDM. Ms. Perneet Shergill, PCS, SDM Sunam has been now transferred and posted as Additional Excise & Taxation Commissioner. Mr. Satwant Singh, PCS available for posting has been posted as SDM, Kapurthala.
