Congress MLA from Gidderbaha Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has requested CM Capt Amarinder Singh to announce free treatment for Covid patients in private hospitals in the state, just like the neighbouring Congress-ruled Rajasthan.
On Sunday, Warring tweeted, “The Congress-led Rajasthan Government announced free treatment of Covid patients in private hospitals… I request Capt Amarinder ji to announce free treatment for patients in private hospitals in Punjab.”
Warring said he had asked Principal Secretary, Health, Hussan Lal to provide more staff at the hospitals in Muktsar district.
