Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, December 26: Inder Mohan Singh, member of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee representing Sunam from Akali Dal and Aam Aadmi Party’s circle president from Sangrur along with their supporters joined the Congress here today.
They were welcomed to the party fold by President Capt Amarinder Singh. Other senior party leaders present included Jagmneet Singh Brar and Manish Tiwari.
Besides, some activists from the Bahujan Samaj Party also switched sides.
It may be mentioned that former Congress MLA Sukhpal Khaira had yesterday joined AAP.
Addressing the news conference, Capt Amarinder Singh lashed out at the Parkash Singh Badal government for having utterly failed to contain deteriorating law and order situation.
