New Delhi, Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane tied the knot with Radhika Dhopvkar in traditional Maharashtrian style on Friday.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted photos of Rahane’s wedding through their official account on social micro blogging site, Twitter.
On Thursday, Rahane had tweeted that the preparations were done and that he is all set to start a new innings of his life.
Radhika also hails from Mulund, the same area where Ajinkya belongs to. It was an arranged marriage.
Many of Rahane’s teammates congratulated him and wished him the best for his new innings.
Rahane, who has thus far represented the Indian team in 10 Tests, 34 ODIs and 11 Twenty20 Internationals, was one of the few Indian batsmen to make an impact in an otherwise forgettable tour of England recently.
