Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ashutosh Mohunta, Acting Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana High Court today administered the oath of office to 12 Additional Judges of Punjab & Haryana High Court. The swearing-in- ceremony took place in the Auditorium of Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh.
Giving the details, a spokesman said that Hon’ble Mr. Justice Ashutosh Mohunta, Acting Chief Justice of Punjab & Haryana High Court administered oath of the office as Additional Judges of Punjab & Haryana High Court to Shri Bawa Singh Walia, Shri Raj Mohan Singh, Ms. Jaishree Thakur, Shri Amit Rawal, Shri Deepak Sibal, Shri Hari Pal Verma, Shri Anupinder Singh Grewal, Smt. Raj Rahul Garg, Shri Gurmit Ram, Smt. Sneh Prashar, Shri Darshan Singh and Dr. Shekhar Kumar Dhawan in a simple but impressive ceremony,
He said that now, with the appointment of 12 Additional Judges, the strength of the Judges in Punjab & Haryana High Court has risen from 45 to 57 against sanctioned strength of 85.
He said that oath ceremony was attended by Hon’ble Sitting and Retired Judges, Sr. Advocates, Family Members of the Judges and other distinguished guests.
