Directly holding police administration responsible for continuous deaths of youth due to drugs in state, the youth wing of Aam Aadmi Party today warned to gherao the dist. police headquarters in case it fails to tame the drug menace.
In a press statement issued by the party today, the Youth Wing Incharge Meet Heyar and president of youth wing Manjinder Singh Sidhu said that it is shoking to see that neither the chief minister has taken notice of dozens of deaths due to drugs in last few days nor the police adminostration has taken any step to stop it. Sidhu said that following the footsteps of previous Badal govt., congress govt. led by Captain Amarinder Singh has showed no interest to catch the big fishes of drug trade. He said that AAP youth wing with the help of civil society will knock the doors of police administration in case it continue to shelter people involved in drug trade. He said AAP youth wing will fight out the battle against drugs till the end.
Meet and Sidhu said that if the police work in the right direction to root out drug menace in state then it will take them just 24 hours to put the people responsible for killing thousands of youth behind the bar. Surprisingly, police are stoping people to raise their voice against drug mafia in state. He appealed the people of state, NGOs and other organizations to extend their help to youth wing in their fight against drugs.
