AAP Youth wing announces to launch ‘Nava Punjab March’ from March 25

Chandigarh, To give momentum to its campaign on the burning issues of Punjab, Youth Wing of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is all set to launch a comprehensive Public Awareness Movement in the form of “Nava Punjab March”, to be initiated from March 25 to April 5. The march will begin from Sri Fathegarh Sahib and will finish at Husainiwala in Ferozepur District covering around 280 Kilometers. AAP Youth Wing, Punjab Vice Presidents Meet Hayer, Randeep Singh Bal, Randeep Singh Baidwan, Secretary Sukhdeep Singh Apra, Joint Secretary, Vipul Puri and Advocate Paramveer Singh were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the media, AAP Youth Wing (Punjab) President, Harjot Singh Bains said that the motive of the march will be to highlight the miseries being faced by the residents of Punjab. He said that the situation of Peasantry, Education, Health, Law and order and Industry has gone from bad to worst in the last 9 years of Akali-BJP rule in Punjab. The march will cover around 120 villages on the way.

Bains said that People are being forced to commit suicide by the anti-people policies of the government. Under its logo ‘Sada Khawab, Nava Punjab’ AAP has a dream to create a new Punjab that will be free from all the evils created by the previous governments. Bains said that prior to start the march, AAP workers will go to Khatkar Kalan, Jalianwala Bagh and Sri Harimandir Sahib to get the blessings of almighty and the martyrs.

Answering a question regarding SYL issue, Bains said that the stand of the party is clear that Punjab does not have extra water to give to any other state.
