The youth wing of Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday warned the SSP Fazilka to act against the police cops of thana Arniwala indulged in drug trade in area and whose names were made public by a youngster of the same village, in failing to that the party will gherao the SSP Fazilka office in coming days.
In a press statement issued from the party headquarter, AAP MLA and youth wing incharge Meet Hayer, state president Manjinder Singh Sidhu, state co-president Sandeep Dhaliwal and Malwa zone-1 president Sukhraj Singh Gora Ferozeshah said that a youngster named Bablu in the presence of villagers and police officials 2 days back alleged that certain police officers are indulged in drug trade in Fazilka area. Till then no action has been taken against any policeman despite the residents of village Arniwala have again uploaded a video containing names of police officers indulged in drug trade.
Meet Hayer and Manjinder Sidhu warned the Punjab govt. that the attempt of govt. to divert the attention of people from issue of drugs through dope test trick will work and AAP will keep on raising the issue till a final conclusion. They said that AAP stands by its words to help the govt. to root out drugs from state. The leaders said that dope test is not the solution of drug problem in state but to act against those indulged in the drug trade.
