Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, June 14: Aam Aadmi Party today differed with its alliance partner the Lok Insaaf Party on the issue of paying tributes to former state police chief K P S Gill in the Assembly during motion on condolence resolution.
LIP MLAs Simarjit Singh Bains and Balwinder Singh Bains also walked out of the House after protest.
The Akali Dal members also staged walk out earlier.
AAP MLA Balwinder Kaur moved that the House should also include 70 farmers who have committed suicide during the last three months in the motion to which Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh agreed.
BJP, the alliance partner of the Akali Dal, did not join the protest.
