Chandigarh: Former state BJP chief and party’s National executive member, Kamal Sharma today said that party’s victory in North-Eastern states, especially Tripura, is the victory of development agenda & Ideology pushed forward by Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA government at the Centre.
In a statement issued here, Sharma stated that the BJP forming governments in North-Eastern states was not less than a historic moment in the political history of the country as these states were strongholds of the Congress and the Left parties.
It’s a big defeat of the negative agenda being spread by the Congress against the Modi government and the anti-national thought process of the left parties, Sharma said.
“The tremendous response for the BJP, especially in Tripura, is also a stamp that the people of the country have rejected the anti-RSS chorus of the Congress and the left,” said Sharma.
He said BJP government led by the Prime Minister believed in equal development of all regions and this was the prime reason why the people of North-East, like other parts of the India, have also reposed faith in the BJP,” said Sharma.
The wrong policies of the Congress and the Left, as these two parties have mostly ruled the region, were responsible for the lack of development in this region, said Sharma.
“This victory is also yet another feather in the cap of our party chief Amt Shah and one more step to make our country ‘Congress Mukt’. Hope the Congress and the left parties would take a lesson from this stunning defeat and would shun the politics of anti-national agenda, negativity and hate,” stated Sharma.
