Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
CHANDIGARH, Vigilance Bureau today nabbed Reader of Naib Tehsildar Budladha, Bathinda red handed accepting bribe of Rs. 4,000.
Disclosing this here an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that Navjeet Singh, reader of Naib Tehsildar of Budladha, Tehsil Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda was caught on the complaint of Mr. Manjit Singh of village Dhingar, Mansa District.
The complainant has approached the VB that above said accused was demanding Rs. 4,000 for registering girdawari of a land belonging to his father and wife.
After verifying his information, the Vigilance team laid a trap and the accused reader arrested on the spot while accepting bribe of Rs.4000 from the complainant in the presence of two official witnesses.
He informed that cases under Prevention of Corruption Act have been registered against the accused at VB police station Bathinda and further investigations were under progress.
