Chandigarh/03 January: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president S. Sukhbir Singh Badal today clarified that SAD leader N.K. Sharma had been appointed as district president of Mohali to lead the urban as well as rural units of the party, simultaneously.
In a release, the SAD president said that the presidents of other cities like Zirakpur, Dera Bassi, Lalru, Kharar, Naya Gaon and Mohali would work directly under the leadership of Mr. Sharma to strengthen the party. The appointment letters to the presidents of other cities of district Mohali would be issued by Mr. Sharma, he added.
