Industry Minister Mr. Mittal announced International Expo PITEX

unnamed-4-700x325Chandigarh, Punjab International Trade Expo (PITEX), an International Trade Fair was today announced by Industry and Commerce Minister, Sh. Madan Mohan Mittal in Udyog Bhawan, Sector-17, Chandigarh. Mr. Dalip Sharma, Regional Director, PHD Chamber, Dr. Anshu Kataria, Convener, Education Committee, PHD Chamber and Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges; Sh. Rajneesh Arora, Vice Chancellor, PTU; Karan Gilhotra, Akali Leader were also present on the occasion.

 

While releasing the brochure of PITEX, Mittal said that the venture undertaken by PHD Chamber will really be an encouraging international exposition in the North India and in South Asian countries to flourish further. It will also help in enhancing the international trade and economic cooperation in this side of the world.

Mr. Dalip Sharma, Regional Director, PHD Chamber said that this is the 9th edition of Punjab International Trade Expo, PITEX 14 is being organized by PHD Chamber and the Punjab Government from 4th to 8th December, 2014 at Amritsar. The Expo shall offer the participating industry, an opportunity to showcase their products and services to diverse range of consumers from all parts of the world.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Convener, Education Committee, PHD Chamber and Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said that PITEX 14 is spread over 15,000 Square meters with 100 international exhibitors and over 250 exhibitors from India. The footfall of more than 2.5 lakh visitors are expected. Last year enquiries worth more than 2.5 crore were generated.

It is to be mentioned that the five days event shall witness various Interactive Seminars, conferences, B to B interactions with the visiting delegations. The fair shall also be visited by Foreign Diplomats and Delegates, Ministers, senior dignitaries from Central and State Governments and International Trade Delegates. Just like every year, we have got an overwhelming response in terms of participation from Pakistan, with the visit from 6 Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
