Chandigarh, Mr. Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa today forcefully raised the issue of the violation of human rights highlighting the cause of Sikh prisoners languishing in various jails of the country even after completing their sentence period.
Mr. Dhindsa raised this issued during question hour in Rajiya Sabha while supporting the agitation of Bhai Gurbakh singh khalsa who has been sitting on hunger strike at Ambala demanding the release of Sikh Prisioners. He said that this is very unpleasant that though the Indiandemocracy is the biggest in the world but yet there are such grave cases of human rights violation. He said that the sikhs who have been detained after the operation blue star-1984 are still languishing in the jails even after thirty years of ordeal.
