CHANDIGARH, OCTOBER 09: The Punjab Government has declared holiday on October 11, 2017 (Wednesday) in all offices, corporations/boards and all educational institutions within district Gurdaspur on account of bye-Election of 01-Gurdaspur Parliamentary constituency.
Disclosing this here today an official spokesman said that those employees who are voters of 01- Gurdaspur Parliamentary Constituency but are employed in the other districts , would be given special holiday on 11-10-2017 (Wednesday) on producing the voter card to the competent authority. The holiday would not be deducted from the holidays availed by the employees. The holiday would be under section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881.
