Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Ludhiana, On behalf of Chief Minister Mr Parkash Singh Badal, Deputy Commissioner Mr Rajat Agarwal today visited ailing Cultural icon and former MLA Mr Jagdev Singh Jassowal at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, here. The Deputy Commissioner inquired about Jassowal’s health from the doctors at DMCH.
He was accompanied by Dr Rajoo Singh Chhina, medical superintendent, DMCH and asked him to keep him informed about Jassowal’s health status. He also directed the doctors to make sure Mr Jagdev Singh Jassowal, founder of Prof Mohan Singh Memorial Foundation, gets best medical treatment. Jassowal is famously known as “Baba Bohar” of Punjabi culture and literature.
Few days ago, Cultural Affairs Minister Mr Sohan Singh Thandal had also inquired about Jassowal’s health.
Prominent among those present in the hospital included Civil Surgeon Dr Subhash Batta, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Foundation president Mr Krishan Kumar Bawa, Prof Mohan Singh Memorial Foundation president Mr Pargat Singh Grewal, Master Sadhu Singh, besides several others.
