Punjab government amends rules for emoluments of walfare officers

Chandigarh, The Punjab Government amended the Punjab Welfare Officers (Recruitment and Conditions Of Service) rules, 1952.

Disclosing this, a spokesperson of the Government said that according to the amendment the Chief Welfare Officer rank officials have been placed in the pay band of Rs. 15600-39100. Their grade pay will be 5400 and they shall be getting the initial pay of Rs. 21000. Similarly for the Welfare Officer rank officials, pay band 10300-34800 will apply. They shall be entitled to the grade pay of Rs. 5000. Their initial pay will be Rs. 18450.
