PM Modi to kickoff Jammu and Kashmir poll campaign from Kishtwar on Nov 22

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin campaigning for the upcoming Assembly Elections in Jammu and Kashmir on November 22.

The BJP’s star campaigner is expected to address his first election rally in Kishtwar. He is likely to hold rallies in Srinagar and Udhampur regions on November 27 and 30 respectively.

Notably, the PM is likely to address over half a dozen rallies in the state in a bid to make his party accomplish ‘Mission-50 plus’.

The polls will be held in phases between November 25-December 20.

The BJP is fielding candidates in all the 87 Assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir and is fighting these elections without forging alliances with any political party in the state.

The BJP recently revised its much hyped 44 plus plan for the state Assembly polls to 50 plus, indicating the party’s seriousness about winning as many seats as possible.

The BJP had bagged three out of six Lok Sabha seats in this year’s General Election.
