Chandigarh, November 18: Punjab Dairy Development Board (PDDB) has invited applications for six weeks Dairy Training Course in six districts with a view to educate farmers about growing benefits in dairy profession. The farmers can get the scientific and modern training at six centres in the state.
Giving Details, Mr. Gulzar Singh Ranike, Animal Husbandry Minister said that 45 days Dairy Entrepreneurship Training course would be started from December 8, 2014 at Dairy Training and Extension Centers, Bija (Ludhiana), Chttamli (Ropar), Verka (Amritsar), Gill (Moga), Sardulgarh (Mansa) and Abul Khurana (Sri Mukatsar Sahib). The Training Course would be imparted by Guru Angad Dev veterinary sciences university, Dairy Research Institute Karnal & dairy experts. He said that the selection committee would interview the eligible candidates on December 2, 2014 at concerned centres.
Mr. Inderjit Singh, Director Dairy Development said that besides, giving knowledge on different techniques of dairy farm management, the candidates would be imparted training in artificial insemination, pregnancy diagnosis and milk handling etc. Interested candidates can contact at District offices or concerned Dairy Training and Extension Centres for prospectus, fee structure and eligibility criteria etc.
