Municipal elections in Punjab will be held in January

Bassi/Chandigarh: 15 November: Municipal elections in Punjab will be conducted in January & relevant arrangements are being ensured for the same. This was stated by Chief Minister Sr. Parkash Singh Badal while addressing the press here at Bhankharpur, when he visited iAddressing a question about the relation between SAD+BJP alliances, he said that the relation among both the parties is very strong & healthy and will be maintained by both the parties. He said that the coming municipal elections will also be carried out jointly by SAD+BJP alliance and there will be a tremendous victory too. Explaining about the distribution of seats he said that the decision for this will be taken jointly by both the parties.
Explaining about his China’s visit, he said that since China being a renowned country in the field of fisheries & other allied occupations. As such, the main motive of this visit was to understand the modern techniques in the fishery & allied occupations & their applicability in the state of Punjab. He said that per hectare production of fishery in Punjab is 6 ton, whereas in China it is 33 ton per hectare which is a record in itself. He said that traditional crops are not proving to be beneficial now, as such; preference needs to be given to other allied occupations. He said that Govt. of Punjab will promote fisheries & other allied occupations in the state of Punjab. He said that his China visit was very successful & its positive outcome is expected in near future.
Addressing the question about industrial promotion, he said that Congress Govt. has always ignored the state of Punjab & kept the state in back-foot, which resulted in low industrial growth and it was a preplanned motive of congress govt. to not to bring any bi project in Punjab. He said that with the formation of NDA Govt. in centre, the new industrial revolution is expected.
Then after Chief Minister Sr. Parkash Singh Badal blessed the newly married couples & wished them best of luck for the future life. During this he appreciated Jathedar Kuldeep Singh for organizing such function, which is helpful in creating a healthy society. During this Jathedar Kuldep Singh Bhankharpur, Sant baba Lakha Singh Nanaksar Kalera & Sant Baba Gurdev Singh Nanaksar Chandigarh presented the Siropao & memento to Chief Minister Sr. Parkash Singh Badal. Worth mentioning at here that the all the 21 newly married couples are orphans. Daily usable items worth Rs. 1 lacs were also given to each couple. During this the Anand Kaaraj, Four Laavan & other customs were conducted by Bhai Ravinder Singh Hajuri Raagi Sh. Darbar Sahib. The newly married couples were blessed by Baba lakha Singh Nanaksar Kalera of Jagraon, Baba Gurdev Singh Nanaksar Chandigarh & Bhai Kuldeep Singh Hajuri Raagi Nanaksar Kalera.n the common wedding ceremony for the marriage of 21 needy couples which was organized by Jathedar Kuldeep Singh and blessed the newly married couples.
