Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, Bhartiya Janata Yuva Morcha has written a letter to the Punjab Chief Minister S. Parkash Singh Badal demanding to reduce the bus fare. The letter that has been shot off by the BJYM Punjab President Sh. Mohit Gupta mentioned that the diesel prices have come down considerably in the last few months. He has stated that the benefit of the reduction in diesel prices must be passed on to the people of the state who are presently forced to travel paying heft bus fair. Sh.Gupta further pointed out in his letter to the CM that after the formation of the Narendra Modi government at the centre, the diesel prices have witnessed a reduction of about 11 to 12 per cent. He said that when the bus fair in the state were increased, it was cited that diesel prices have gone up, adding that going by the simple logic, now the fair for the bus travel must be reduced as diesel prices have come down. He also said that people of Punjab must get the benefit of the inflation coming down in the country.
