Snow plow strikes gas line in Scarborough

Scarborough: A snow plow struck a gas line in a Scarborough neighbourhood on Saturday morning, prompting the evacuation of a nearby store and the apartment located above it.
The accident happened near Kingston Road and Morningside Avenue at around 8:50 a.m.
No injuries were reported as a result and crews have since shut off the gas to the area and given residents the all-clear to return to their homes.
During the evacuation, a TTC bus was brought to the scene to provide shelter to those who were displaced.
