Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh,Ambassador of Spain Mr. Gustavo de Aristegui today called on the Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh Mr. Shivraj V. Patil, at Punjab Raj Bhavan.
Discussing various issues at length, Mr. Patil asked the Ambassador whether they are using solar energy or not he replied that they have very advanced technology in Solar energy. Mr. Patil said that there was a major scope of cooperation in the fields of solar energy and food processing. He said that bold initiatives have already been taken for the generation of more power with focus on tapping solar energy to meet growing demand in different sector of economy which would help in saving electricity for industries. He suggested for strengthening partnerships in agri-related ventures especially food processing which has a major scope of collaboration.
Ambassador, Mr. Gustavo de Aristegui, has shown keen interest in extending cooperation in the fields of solar energy and food processing.
