Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, To commemorate the 30th Martyrdom Anniversary of former Prime Minister Late Smt. Indira Gandhi, Sankalp Divas was observed at Punjab Congress Bhawan, Chandigarh today. Floral tributes were offered at the portrait of Smt. Gandhi by S. Fateh Jang Singh Bajwa, S. Jasbir Singh Dimpa, Smt. Lakwinder Kaur Garcha General Secretaries Punjab Congress alongwith S. Jagtar Singh Burj Chairman Panchayat Rural Development Cell PPCC, Sh. Lakha Ram Davesar Chairman Bazigar Cell PPCC, Sh. Jang Bahadur General Secretary SC Deptt. PPCC, Sh. Jagdish Singh Bhola and a large number of Congress workers from adjoining Mohali and Zirakpur.
Sh. Fateh Jang Singh Bajwa General Secretary Punjab Pradesh Congress stated that the Congressmen present on the occasion took pledge to make all sacrifices to safeguard the Unity and Integrity of the country for which the late Smt. Gandhi made the supreme sacrifice.
