Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Orangeville: One person was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being ejected from their vehicle following a collision east of Orangeville Tuesday afternoon.
It happened on Highway 9, near Heart Lake Road, shortly after 4 p.m.
According to Ontario Provincial Police, preliminary information indicated that three vehicles were involved in the crash, including a truck.
A sedan-type vehicle and the truck collided head on before a third vehicle was also involved, police said.
“The driver of the sedan was ejected from the vehicle, and sustained serious, life-threatening injuries,” police said in a release Tuesday evening.
“Both drivers from the delivery truck and midsize vehicle were transported to hospital.”
Highway 9 is currently closed between Heart Lake Road and 3rd Line as the investigation continues.
