Toronto: Multiple tenants of a west-end apartment building were forced to evacuate Saturday morning after a two-alarm fire broke out in one of the units.
Firefighters were called to the building, which is located on Lisgar Street, in the area of Queen Street West and Dovercourt Road, at around 2:30 a.m.
Residents on the 11th floor had to be evacuated due to high levels of carbon dioxide, police confirmed.

No residents were injured but one firefighter was taken to hospital for smoke inhalation.
The building sustained a significant amount of damage and the Office of the Fire Marshal has been notified.
The fire is not believed to be suspicious, police say.
