Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Mississauga:- One person is dead after a suspected impaired driving crash near Pearson International Airport.
It happened near Silver Dart Drive and Jetliner Road at around 1:30 a.m.
Initial reports from the scene indicated that two vehicles collided in the roadway with one of them subsequently bursting into flames.
Peel police have said that one person is in custody in connection with the accident, however it is not clear what charges they will face.
The Major Collision Bureau is on scene investigating and police say the intersection is expected to remain closed for an extended period of time.
