Toronto:Police are investigating after shots were fired at an Oakwood Village home for the second consecutive night.
Officers responded to a home on Rockvale Avenue near Rogers Road and Oakwood Avenue at around 11 p.m. for a report of gunshots.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that two vehicles parked in the driveway of the home had been pierced by bullets.Police say it is the second time in as many nights that a home on the street was targeted.
At around the same time on Tuesday night, shots were fired at a residence next door. The bullets struck a window and a vehicle parked outside the house.
A motive for either shooting remains unclear, however the owner of the home that was shot at on Tuesday night.
Police raided the home next door six or seven months ago and arrested a man on drug and firearm-related charges. A family, however, moved into the address recently and the home owner says he doesn’t believe that they were the intended target of the shooting.
Police have not said whether either shooting was targeted, however a police source does confirm that a search warrant was executed at 42 Rockvale Avenue in October.
No suspect descriptions have been released at this point.
