Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, As a Diwali Bonanza to its employees and pensioners, Punjab Finance Minister Mr. Parminder Singh Dhindsa today gave his nod to release 10% dearness allowance (DA) with October 2014 salary. He has signed the file and concerned section would release a letter soon.
Giving details, a spokesperson said that the increased DA would be given with the salary/pension of October 2014, which would be paid in November 2014. He said that with the release of this DA instalment the state would touch 100 percent from present 90 percent of the basic pay/pension.
He said that earlier the increased DA would have given from December 2014 but now it is decided to release with October 2014 salary. The spokesman said that the decision about the pending payment of enhanced DA from 1.1.2014 to 30.09.2014 would be taken later.
