Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today slammed the BJP-led NDA government for heavy hike in the transport fuel prices and asked to roll back the increase in fuel prices. Condemning the move of government, AAP Legal Cell Head, Himmat Singh Shergill and Youth Wing President, Harjot Singh Bains said that at the time when the prices of crude oil are lower all over the world, the hike in the fuel prices is bad and disappointing decision.
The leaders said that the promises of Modi to revive economy and bringing ‘Achhe Dins’ after coming to power have fell flat. It is hard for common people in the country to make their both end meet in Modi era because of higher prices of commodities. The leaders also criticized Punjab Chief Minister, Parkash Singh Badal for maintaining silence over the issue of price hike.
