Chandigarh, March 9 : Expressing surprise over statement given by PPCC Chief Captain Amrinder Singh in media regarding 12 hour power cuts in the state, Shiromani Akali Dal today advised Captain that either he should keep a vigil over the generator operator of his ‘Moti Mehal’ who might be cheating him by producing fake diesel bills or he should visit the remotest village of the state to correct his information regarding power status in the state. Party said that Congress leader should desist from telling blatant lies.
In a statement issued here SAD General Secretary Prem Singh Chandumajra MP advised Captain Amrinder Singh to come with a positive agenda for the people of the state if he really want to compete with SAD-BJP alliance in the coming assembly polls. “People of the state are wise enough and you can’t fool them by telling lies that are to hard to digest”, he added.
Describing Captain Amrinder Singh a frustrated king of a lost army, Chandumajra said anybody can understand the level of frustration through which congress leadership was going through but it doesn’t mean that after turning every stone to defame Punjab as bankrupt and drug addict they start declaring the real facts and figures quoted by various national level organizations regarding real fiscal and financial position of the state as bogus. He challenged captain Amrinder Singh to support his claims with facts and figures rather than just denigrating Punjab’s image with his blatant lies.
Challenging Captain Amrinder to shed false propaganda and compete on development agenda, SAD MP questioned that why Congress is shying away from spelling its development initiatives for state and comparing those initiatives with that of SAD-BJP government besides unveiling their vision for the state? He advised Captain Amrinder Singh to take it seriously and try to compete with the facts and figures being shared by development oriented Punjab Government with its people or at least come with some logical arguments if you have anything in your kitty.
