Chandigarh, March 2 : Senior journalist and author Chander Suta Dogra with two decades of experience covering north India for prominent national media organisations in the print has joined Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday.
Chander Suta Dogra who covered politics and government in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu Kashmir and known for her investigative reportage on wide range of national issues has joined AAP in the presence of national spokesperson and in charge Punjab party affairs, Sanjay Singh, National Organisational Secretary, Durgesh Pathak, Punjab Convener, Sucha Singh Chhotepur and Sangrur MP, Bhagwant Mann.
She has resigned from Outlook magazine to join AAP. Earlier she held senior positions in the Indian Express, The Hindu and Hindustan Times. She is married to an army officer and her son is a pilot in the Indian Air Force.
Speaking on the occasion both Sanjay and Durgesh welcomed Chander Suta Dogra into the party and said with the vast experience she has had in the field of journalism at the senior level she would surely prove to be an asset for the AAP.
