Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, Chandigarh Press Club condemned the attack on journalist Mr. Sanjeev Mahajan. Governing Council of Chandigarh Press Club extends its unity with Mr. Mahajan and demands immediate arrest of the culprits. Mr. Mahajan is a professional journalist and abides with the journalistic ethics. Press Club demands to Inspector General, Chandigarh Police to take appropriate action against the attackers soon so that the security and the dignity of the journalists could be ensured.
The Governing council of Press Club, stands by the fellow journalists and also demands that security of the journalists and photographers should be ensured by the Government so that they can work without fear.
