Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia today felicitated the people of Punjab on the auspicious occasion of Pargat Divas of Bhagwan Valmiki ji and exhorted them to follow his teachings and ideology to carve out an ideal society.
In a message, Mr. Majithia said that Bhagwan Valmiki ji, the creator of first ever the great epic-‘Ramayana’ was a great exponent of Indian culture & civilization. He said that ‘Ramayana’ is a great source of human values, culture and ethics for the entire humanity. Bhagwan Valmiki was a great spiritual ambassador, who gave the message of social equality, communal harmony and welfare of downtrodden and oppressed groups, he added.
He called upon the people to celebrate this sacred occasion collectively rising above the narrow consideration of caste, colour and creed thereby paving a way for selflessness in human life as preached by Bhagwan Valmiki ji.
