Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Muzaffarnagar, 25 people, including five women, were injured in a clash between two groups at Saidpur village under Totawi police station in the district.
According to SHO Virender Kumar, last evening Tanveer and Mehraj got into an altercation over money which turned into a violent clash in which fire arms and bricks were also used, police said.
Police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. Extra police has been deployed in the village and security has been tightened, he added.
The injured have been shifted to the hospital.
