Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, January 13: Two more jawans from the Border Security Fotrce are under the scanner of Mohali police for their alleged involvement in drug smuggling from across the border following some arrests earlier.
Sources maintain their names have been disclosed by Havaldar Prem Singh arrested earlier from Fazilka sector.
The smugglers pay about Rs 50,000 for facilitating every crossing.
Mohali police chief Gurpreet Singh Bhullar disclosed investigation was making progress.
He said security has been tightened in the district.
