Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, January 12 : The Shiromani Akali Dal President and Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal today nominated Senior leaders Bibi Jagir Kaur, Gulzar Singh Ranike, Dr. Upinderjit Kaur and S. Hari Singh Zira as members of the Core Committee of the party.
In a statement released from the party head office here today, the SAD Secretary and Spokesman and Punjab Education Minister Dr. Daljit singh Cheema disclosed that member of the Political Affairs Committee of the party Bhai Manjit Singh has been nominated as Senior Vice Presidents where Jeet Mohinder Singh Sidhu MLA Talwandi Sabo, S. Bawa Singh Gumanpura Amritsar and Senior Haryana state leader S. Sukhdev Singh Gobindgarh has been made Vice President of the party. Dr. Cheema also said that senior party leader and former minister S. Sewa Singh Sekhwan has been appointed President of the Kisan Wing of the party whereas S. Gurpartap Singh Tikka has been appointed as acting President of the SAD urban Amritsar unit.
He further said that body of the working committee and other office bearers of the party would be announced in the coming days.
