Majithia meets under treatment injured of tragic road accident-enquires about Health

Vallah (Amritsar), December 31: Punjab Revenue Minister, Mr Bikram Singh Majithia today visited Sri Guru Ramdas Charitable Hospital,
Vallah here to enquire about the health of those who were injured in tragic road mishap occurred yesterday on Amritsar -Mehta road near
village Dhapayian.

Describing the incident ‘very unfortunate’, Mr. Majithia said that visited emergency ward to interact with the patients and their attendants
and assured them all necessary assistance from the government. Mr. Majithia informed that Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh
Badal has announced Rs. 2 lakh ex-gratia grant for the next of kin of 11 persons killed in the mishap. He said that Punjab CM and Deputy
Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal have also expressed deep grief over this tragic incident in which 11 casualties were reported
whereas 11 injured. The Minister also asked Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Jasdeep Singh to initiate strict action against the erring
driver of bus.

The Minister also met the attendants of injured and informed that treatment to injured persons will be provided free and instructions in
this regard have been issued.

Mr. Majithia directed the Deputy Commissioner Mr Ravi Bhagat, who was accompanying him, and other authorities concerned for
providing specialized diagnostic and treatment facilities to the patients.

Doctors looking after the patients apprised Mr. Majithia that all required facilities were being provided to the injured on priority and all 11
patients under treatment were stable now.

The all injured namely Daljit Kaur w/o Jarnail Singh of village Sidhwan, Jagir Singh S/o. Kartar Singh of village Kotla, Amandeep Kaur w/o
Kulwant Singh village Kotla, Jashanpreet Singh s/o Dilbagh Singh, Nishan Singh s/o Bara Ram village Sarhala, Parkash Kaur w/o Jagir Singh
village Kotla Dhole Shah, Amrik Kaur w/o Beer Singh village Kotla, Kanwaljit Kaur D/o Balwinder Singh village Sidhwan, Rajwinder Kaur
w/o Dilbagh Singh of village Kotla and Sonia were stable now.
