Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
CHANDIGARH, December 26: The Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee today finalised the arrangements for the Maghi conference to be held onJanuary 14 at Muktsar. Senior party leader and Barnala MLA Kewal Singh Dhillon has been made in-charge of the conference.
Ms Karan Kaur Brar will be the convenor of the conference and Ms Gurmeet Singh Khudhian will be the coordinator.
It was decided that the venue of the rally will be outside and separate from the mela and the crowd will comprise of workers and not the pilgrims. The rally area will be the largest as compared to the Akali Dal and the Aam Aadmi Party.
A meeting was held here today under the chairmanship of the PCC President Capt Amarinder Singh. It was attended among others by senior party leaders Jagmeet Singh Brar, Karan Kaur Brar,Laal Singh, Sunil Jakhar, Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi, Kewal Singh Dhillon, Navtej Singh Cheema, Gurpreet Singh Kangar, Joginder Singh Panjgrain, Ajaib Singh Bhatti, Harminder Singh Jassi, Parminder Singh Pinky, Ajit Inder Singh Mofar, Harchand Kaur, Mohammad Sadiq, PYC president Amarpreet Singh Laly, NSUI Punjab president, Iqbal Singh and others.
