Mumbai, The Khan trinity- Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan- has been ruling Bollywood since the last two decades. Despite the emergence of the young guns, these biggies have held their positions strongly.
It’s a known fact Salman and Aamir have been good friends for long. But the third Khan- SRK- surprisingly doesn’t share a great camaraderie with the other two. Not that something is terribly wrong between the two sides, but it’s just that they prefer being in their own camps, so to say.
We have often seen SRK or the other two Khan friends take a dig at each other (one wonders if it’s actually in good humour!). Now, if latest reports are anything to go by, then Shah Rukh was yet again in a mood to mock one of these Khans. Reports suggest that the Badshah of Bollywood called Aamir ‘half-actor’.
It so happened that during SLAM! The Tour, all the actors were asked to sing a few songs as Yo Yo Honey Singh wasn’t able to join the event, due to an injury. Boman sang the song, “give me some sunshine” from Aamir Khan’s ‘3 Idiots’. SRK apparently did not know which film the song belonged to.
Boman answered SRK by saying that the song was from ‘3 Idiots’. SRK, then wanted to know the name of the lead actor of the film, to which Boman named Aamir Khan. And that was exactly when SRK reportedly said that when such big actors are present on stage, there was no need to sing a song featuring a ‘half-actor’!
Going by Aamir’s stupendous performances in the two decades so far, one wonders whether to take SRK’s alleged comment as a compliment to Aamir or a jibe. For ‘half-actor’, also suggest that the artist is also ‘half-natural’. Isn’t it?
