Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, November 14: Punjab School Education Minister Dr Daljeet Singh Cheema today said the Congress was directly linked to the November 10 Sarbat Khalsa and it was this party that mobilized people. He named both Congress state President Partap Singh Bajwa and former chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh in this regard.
Addressing a news conference here, he also played the recording that is doing the rounds on social media that is about telephonic talk between the Congress leaders and organizers of Sarbat Khalsa.
However, Dr Cheema evaded replies to the questions about the source of the recording and also whether it had been done by the intelligence people as phone tapping without following proper procedure is illegal. He said the source would be revealed at the appropriate time.
He challenged the Congress leaders Harminder Singh Gill and Lally Majithia to disown the conversation.
