Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, November 9: Buoyed by the spectacular victory of the JD(U)-RJD-Congress grand alliance in Bihar, Punjab Congress President Partap Singh Bajwa today proposed that same experiment should be replicated here in the February 2017 Assembly elections.
Talking to the media persons here, he said the secular forces should unite in Punjab to give a crushing defeat to the communal forces represented by the Akali Dal-BJP alliance which was responsible for the ruination of the state.
He blamed the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh for the incidents of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib in the state and said the conspiracy was hatched during visits of its chief Mohan Bhagwat to the Punjab.
