Chandigarh: 08-11-15: The victory of Maha Alliance in Bihar and the way BJP has been routed out will have clear repercussions on the coming Punjab Vidhan Sabha elections. Lambasting on the Shiromani Akali Dal and BJP government in Punjab S Ravneet Singh Bittu, Member of Parliament (Ludhiana) in a statement said that the Bihar Vidhan Sabha results have shown clear door to the so called “Modi Charisma” and now this will replicate in Punjab also. Although in Bihar they managed to get double figure but in Punjab this alliance of SAD- BJP will not even get a single seat. The Modi government announced special package for the Bihar right before the elections but the people of this country have understood the communal design of the BJP. The people of Bihar have outrightly rejected the saffron party, instead gone with the MahaAlliance. This result will significantly effect the poll prospects of the all the parties in the coming Punjab and Uttar Pradesh vidhan sabha elections which are on the way just one and half year ahead. The way this saffron party is playing with the sentiments of every caste of the society they will be facing more wrath of people in the coming times too.
Congratulating the Congress President Smt Sonia Gandhi and the Congress vice President Sh Rahul Gandhi for their victory in Bihar, S Ravneet Singh Bittu said that this was the political master stroke of our Vice President to join the Maha Alliance in Bihar and go in the elections. The result has also given a steep rise in the number of seats of the congress party in Bihar. This has been possible with the vision of our Vice President. Now our dynamic Vice President is replicating the same too in Punjab too. His recent visits to the Malwa belt proves that the congress high command is seriously thinking about the political prospects of the party in Punjab vidhan sabha elections also. There has been big revolt of the people from every caste against the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal and BJP Government which is at the helm of affairs for the last nine years. The congress party under the dynamic vision of Sh Rahul Gandhi will form the next government in Punjab.
